ROMY KAY

Romy Kay loves the words. She always did since she was a child. Words are her way of transportation to other dimensions, clear and perfectly understandable. For her, words are this wonderful tool to express our imagination, emotions, hopes, and everything else in the whole cosmos we carry within us, plus the one we see and don't see around us. What else but the words could help us know and explain better ourselves and others, learn about the world and find new horizons. What else but the words could hurt us deeply, or magically comfort and lift us up to the sky.

Romy Kay loves to write words and share them. While she is not writing, she enjoys quiet life in Texas and reading with pleasure other people's words. Occasionally, she likes reading out loud. This makes her two dogs and two cats excitedly happy, and in exchange they allow her and her husband to share the house with them, no rent required.

As a former newspaper journalist and in-flight magazine editor-in-chief, Romy Kay traveled around the globe for years. Africa touched her heart deeply. There she met in person her characters who told her their own amazing stories, which she put into words.
